Papier-mâché Lacquered box. Oriental hand made box, sweet little box with a notch in the base and lid ensuring it goes on in only one way. the applied decoration is of a a loose leaf design. Typically with lacquered items there are a few areas of where the lacquer has worn off and showing the papier mache underneith. Attractive box Diameter 12cm height 13cm
